The role and the responsibilities of every participant for the accomplishment of the project


Steps / Activities / Participants

Step I:  Studies and preliminary researches for the identification of the basic principles of the achievement and utilization of ultra porous ceramic foams in treatment processes of gaseous flows
Activity I.1:  Studies and analysis for the laboratory technology elaboration
Partner P1(CO):  Study concerning the gelation by polymerization and the possibility of polymerization in clay slips and preliminary researches of the obtaining of nanocomposites gels ant their analysis.
Partner P2:  Study of the obtaining of inorganic oxides nanopowders and of inorganic nanoporous oxides and about the composition of clay slips and preliminary researches.
Partner P5:  Study of the methods for clay slips preparation and of drying and sintering of hybrid inorganic-organic composites.

Step II:  Researches for the elaboration of producing technologies of ultra porous ceramic foams and for their use in catalysis and micro and ultra filtration processes for the gases treatment
Activity II.1:  Elaboration of the experimental model- ultra porous ceramic foams producing technology and their use in the catalyses and micro and ultra filtration processes
Partner P1(CO):  Researches for the elaboration of lab technology for the producing of hybrid nanocomposites with polymer template and for the assessment of the rheological behaviour of clay slips.
Partner P2:  Researches for nano milling of ceramic powders and for the yielding of nanoporous powders, clay slips preparation, complex characterization of ceramic powders and of the obtained clay slips and establishment of the catalytic active phase coating methods.
Partner P3:  Polymer and polymer nanocomposites analysis and lab tests of the physical- mechanical characteristics (UPB1) and tests of gas powder filtering characteristics of the new materials (UPB2).
Partner P4:  Research for the use of ceramic foams as support for catalytic active phases for VOC annihilation.
Partner P5:  Research of alternative variants for the clay slips obtaining and concerning the thermal treatment and calcination and sintering technologies; Ceramic oxides and ceramic foams analysis concerning the grain and pore dimensions, specific surface and thermal behaviour.

Step III:  Realization of the experimental model: lab technology for the ultra porous ceramic foams production and for their use in catalytic and micro and ultra filtration processes for the environment protection
Activity III.1:  Design of the experimental model
Partner P1(CO):  Proposal of the technological and outfit flowcharts for the obtaining of the new products.
Partner P2:  Participates in proposal of the technological flowcharts for the obtaining of the new products.
Partner P3:  Participates in proposal of the outfit flowchart for the obtaining of the new products .
Partner P5:  Participates in proposal of the technological flowcharts for the obtaining of the new products.
Activity III.2:  Experimental model realization lab technology
Partner P1(CO):  Accomplishment of the inorganic- organic polymer nanocomposites yielding procedure.
Partner P2:  Accomplishment of the oxide nanopowders and clay slips preparation recipes and establishment of the catalytic active phases coating methods.
Partner P3:  Physical-chemical characterization of the polymer nanocomposites and determination of thermal conductivity and gas powders filtering characteristics .
Partner P4:  Research for the use of ceramic foams as support for catalytic active phases for VOC annihilation.
Partner P5:  Accomplishment of the thermal treatment (drying, calcination, sintering) technology of the precursor nanocomposites for ceramic foams.
Activity III.3:  Elaboration of the documentation for the functional model- lab technology
Partner P1(CO):  Achievement of the ultra porous ceramic foams obtaining technology.
Partner P2:  Participates in the achievement of the ultra porous ceramic foams obtaining technology.
Partner P3:  Achievement of the technology for the filtering of solid particles from gaseous flows using ultra porous ceramic foams .
Partner P4:  Achievement of the catalytic treatment technology of gaseous flows using ultra porous ceramic foams.
Partner P5:  Participates in the achievement of the ultra porous ceramic foams obtaining technology.
Activity III.4:  Experimentation of the proposed solutions for the obtaining and using of the ultra porous ceramic foams
Partner P1(CO):  Experimentation of the proposed solution for the obtaining of the ultraporous ceramic foams.
Partner P2:  Participates at experimentation of the proposed solutions for the obtaining and using of the ultra porous ceramic foams.
Partner P5:  Participates at experimentation of the proposed solutions for the obtaining and using of the ultra porous ceramic foams; Morpho-structural characterization of the solid foams.

Step IV:  Demonstration of the utility and functionality of the lab technology for chemical and physical treatment of gaseous flows, protection by patent and results dissemination
Activity IV.1:  Demonstration of the functionality and utility of the proposed technology for the producing and using of the new ultra porous ceramic foams
Partner P1(CO):  Researches for the demonstration of the reproducibility of the new materials producing technology.
Partner P2:  Participates at the demonstration of the reproducibility of the new materials producing technology.
Partner P3:  Help the demonstration by specific analysis .
Partner P5:  Participates at the demonstration of the reproducibility of the new materials producing technology; Complex characterization of the ceramic product.
Partner P6:  Participates at the demonstration of the reproducibility of the new materials producing technology.
Activity IV.2:  Experimentation and verification of the technology
Partner P3:  Experiments for verifying the utility of the ceramic foams, obtained in project, in the filtering of gaseous flows.
Partner P4:  Experiments for verifying the utility of the ceramic foams, obtained in project, in the treatment of gaseous flows.
Partner P6:  Participates at the experiments for verifying the utility and functionality of the ceramic foams, in the filtering and catalytic processes.
Activity IV.3:  Design and elaboration of the tehnical-economical analysis study
Partner P1(CO):  Coordinates and participates in the activity for the elaboration of the feasibility study.
Partner P2:  Participates at the elaboration of the feasibility study.
Partner P5:  Participates at the elaboration of the feasibility study.
Partner P6:  Participates at the elaboration of the feasibility study.
Activity IV.4:  Elaboration of the technical specification
Partner P1(CO):  Coordinates and participates in the activity for the elaboration of the technical specification.

Activity IV.5:  Large scale dissemination of the results by national and international communication and publication
Partner P1(CO):  Coordinates during the project duration the dissemination activity in order to realize minimum 4 scientific communications at international conferences, minimum 4 articles (in ISI journals), of a CD-rom, of a web page and for the participation in fairs and exhibitions.
Partner P2:  Participates in the dissemination.
Partner P3:  Participates in the dissemination.

Activity IV.6:  Identification and attribution of intellectual property rights on the results
